In the world of making money, there are a ton of scams out there. If there is money to be made, then there will certainly be people ready to take advantage of others in order to make a buck. If you are looking for a residual income opportunity, then you will need to know what to look out for in order to avoid being another sucker parted with his/her money.
There are a couple of simple things you will want to look out for when evaluating any type of making money opportunity. The first is the focus on making money. The fact is that most scams out there are focused on appealing to our sense of greed. Their sales pitch is full of words like “make money fast” or “no work” or “easy” or “quick”… you get the idea. There will normally be images that are associated with wealth plastered all over their sites as well such as mansions, attractive people with perfect bodies, nice cars, and piles of cash.
What you will want to look for is what’s behind all of the hype. There are many valid residual income businesses out there that can actually help you make ongoing income. One test you can use is to figure out how the seller of the program or opportunity is making money. If their way of making money is to sell other people on ways to make money, then you may want to reconsider. You will ideally want to do something that doesn’t involve earning income from getting others to buy products that promise them to make money. That doesn’t even make sense if you think about it.
If you find an opportunity where the people who are selling you on the idea is making the majority of their money by doing what they are teaching you to do, then it could be something that you may want to look more into. The bottom line is to look to see how the promoters are making their money. This will help clue you into whether or not you should give it a shot.
