Fed up with the daily commute and sick and tired of the boss telling you what to do? Why not look at some ideas to make money at home. You will need some skills and discipline but you can do it if you set your mind to it.
Develop a career in freelance writing. If you can write and are a good communicator, with a decent education then the results will come in time. With the explosion of the Internet there is a huge opportunity available to many who don’t even know that they have these skills. Internet writing is very different from writing in print and it’s not difficult to research and write a good compelling factual article. The pay is not great when you first start out but after a year or so it should escalate if you are good at writing. There are many companies out there looking for home based writers to write about products, services, reviews etc. If you have three to four regular clients you will definitely make a regular steady income. It will not make you a millionaire but it’s really nice work and you are your own boss.
Do some research online and look up companies like TextBroker and Elance, and register your interest there. Then there are websites like Gumtree.com that have a creative writing section, Craiglist.com which has a huge listing for almost every country world. Look for the section on writing and apply for jobs through them.
Before you apply make sure that you have some sample articles to submit as writing samples. Make sure that the topics are interesting and varied, for example choose subjects like Forex Trading, DIY, Weight-Loss. Write up a short 400 word article, double check that all the grammar is perfect, no spelling mistakes etc and when you see a opportunity you like, just send them the sample. Once you have been accepted (and it may mean writing another sample at the company’s request) then do that sample and the work will start coming on a regular basis. Make sure you have a Paypal address as most companies pay through that and you are all set to launch your make money at home endeavor.
